Ori - Secure, Distributed File System

I have been wondering about how better to manage data across several machines,
and this seems like it might be what I need (I just worry that it won't
survive).

It seems like you have a large collection of files on a main server and then
mount subtrees elsewhere, which are automatically synced. This is orthogonal
to whatever version control system I am using for a particular project (I
hope). So I can work on the same project on two machines, and they will both
(I hope) have the same content, and continue to inter-operate with the VCS
(once synchronised).

There are also a bunch of other nice things, like automatic backups that are
intelligently purged as the disk fills.
