I was prescribed a pot of this when first diagnosed with MS, but took only a
few doses before stopping - at the time I was pretty much terrified and
confused, and wanted to feel and understand what was happening in my body
(pregalex suppresses symptoms, but has no effect, as far as I know, on the
causes of MS).

But yesterday I had a good meeting with my doctor, where we discussed pain
management (I am not in "serious" pain, but it is persistent and annoying) and
he suggested trying it again, to see if it helped.

Well, it's weird and I don't like it.  I can see how it helps - it "damps
things out", so there's not the buzz of pins and needles.  But it's too much
(even at one 37mg dose) - like listening to music with the treble turned off.
Pains are still there, but they make less sense; they are low-level drones
with no context or detail.  It's weird.

So, chalk that one down to experience.  Glad I'm not epileptic.  The original
dose was 37mg (half a tablet) every 12 hours.  So hopefully it'll wear off
soon (6 hours through).
