C[omp]ute

I learnt something here, but it may be obvious to others.  This DTD -
http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd - describes a "property
list" used by Apple's OS X.  Once you understand/guess what the % syntax
means it is a recursive declaration of a data structure, much like you'd
see in Haskell or OCaml.  Neat, clear, minimal, elegant.

- and if you're used to parsing these things by hand you'll note that it
looks quite unelegant.  The key/value pairs are lumped together rather
than appearing inside a separate element.

So, what do you do?  Design the XML or the DTD?
