MultiMap and MultiSet

From: andrew cooke <andrew@...>

Guava (whose iterable related functions are exactly what you need if you are
frustrated that Java is not more like python or Clojure) introduces these two
new data types.
http://code.google.com/p/guava-libraries/wiki/NewCollectionTypesExplained

I hadn't really noticed them before, but MultiSet is like python's Counter (in
collections), which is surprisingly useful, and MultiMap looks like it's the
perfect representation for ad-hoc graphs.

There's a blog (google+) post somewhere explaining how the patches to Guava
are almost never accepted because writing the code is the least of their
worries - they spend a lot more time thinking about the ideas. And that
really sure. Guava is not just a useful library; it's one you cna learn from.
